Some people are receiving a "invalid email" error when they are trying to register to the forums....
I did an search in the help section of the forum host site and found some information. Apperently the main host is European and their scripting doesn't accept a lot of Internet Host Providers email address from the Pacific rim, meaning Australia, Japan, Korea, and so on and so forth. In addition they don't accept generic email address that are other then a .com. For example an email from @hotmail.co.uk or @yahoo.co.jp will most likely not be accepted. The host company says to run a email validation that shows the scripting of said email address and then I can send them the script report so their French networking can look into the problem. All that means crap to me, and doesn't even mean that the problem will get fixed, and believe me, we're not the only ones having this problem.
My suggestion is easy and should work just fine. If you try to register with your regular email and it comes up as "invalid" then I recommend making a generic .com email address using your main characters name. Rarely will we at the Ashen Guarde Administration be sending emails to anyone, so it would be something purely used to be able to register here.
I apologize as this kind of sounds as a cop-out, but I'm at a loss of ideas and with the exception of making a whole new forum that is all I can think of.
Thank you.
